Goals
STEPS TO GOALS
Setting goals is one of the most important things you will ever do. Some may see goal setting in the same manner as having "an aspiration" or "an objective," maybe even the equivalent to having "a plan." It really makes no difference what you call it, just make sure you develop this type of thinking and act on it. The basic definition of the word "goal" is, "The object of a person's ambition or effort, an aim or desired result." We are born into this world with the innate desire to accomplish something. When we were babies we had desires to crawl, walk and talk, (even if we weren't able to articulate these desires as goals). As we grew our goals grew with us; some of our goals may have been to learn to roller skate or to fly the highest kite or maybe even to become the smartest kid on the block . Basically, there is always something to accomplish; it's up to each of us to find that which (for us) gives life its' true meaning.
Here is a short and simple concept: Make up your mind to do something; create a plan of action; review it with your higher self and watch it unfold!
YOUR PREPARATION
Be specific about what you want to achieve
Visualize your goal
Create a plan of action
Take action
Have a backup plan (remember you always have options)
Quick health and wealth side note:
Find your purpose.
Find out what a person wants and help them get it. Discover the thing that activates their emotions. Make it a win-win scenario! Your mind and body will appreciate your efforts.
Benjamin Franklin used his money to help others start their businesses. Now that's purpose!
You may have heard it takes money to make money. However, simply making more money is not always the answer. Sometimes you can make more money just by spending less.
What is your financial discipline? Earn $100 spend $75 save $25?
We are living in what appears to be the riches time and the wealthiest place ever in history. We have access to tons of financial health improvement materials, however, our culture has been wrongly educated when it comes to money and nutrition.
Keep in mind that we should not finance, restaurant meals, recreation, such as, boats, ski equipment, vacations or any item that depreciates, such as cars, TV's or clothes. Nor should you overlook your fruits and veggies. They are low in fat, salt and sugar and they are a good source of dietary fiber. Health and wealth work together for a better lifestyle!
Now, back to goals:
If one of your goals is to be your own boss, I have listed below a couple of the businesses I work from home; take a look at all of them. If you believe one of these will work for you, by all means, come on-board. If you have any questions you may contact me by phone at 360-836-4552 or via email at www.earthoil411@gmail.com I will gladly answer any questions for you.
Wishing you all the best,
Regina
Many of today's conversations include discussions about the balance of everyday life, spiritual work and physical fitness. Sometimes we can go overboard with certain aspects of life and become unbalanced in our daily walk. There are many activities that keep us busy today; family, friends, career, technology, sports etc. It's not easy to grow spiritually in today's society where most of life seems to rotate around money, power and influence.
Over two decades ago I decided it was important for me to grow spiritually. No longer would I allow society, the media or fast paced technology to dictate the order of my life. To be able to grow spiritually I needed to become more introspective; to look closely at my thoughts, feelings, beliefs and motivations, to become more objective in a self-forgiving way and focus on the areas that required improvement.
Growing spiritually has given my life direction and purpose, a meaning. Realizing we are all connected helped me become more humble and respectful of all people and all things in nature. Finding the balance of spiritual maturity, caring for family, financial goals and physical health is a process I find extremely rewarding.
I once read "it takes discipline to balance your life. You should be disciplined to pray, disciplined to spend quality time with your family and to take care of your health. You should even discipline yourself to rest and have fun." I encourage you to examine your life today, and do what is necessary to bring balance to your LIFE. Click the LIFE link
EAT THE RIGHT FOODS
A friend of mine once said to me, "food is overrated." Well, I had to disagree with her; food is not overrated to me! I love food! I am ecstatic when I eat foods that taste good to me. You may have heard the expression, "you are what you eat", well, needless to say, I don't really want to look like the cow my hamburger came from. I try to eat a healthy variety of foods to help protect myself from certain diseases. Basically, if you eat right everyday, you'll not only look better, you'll feel better too!
Here's the deal in a nut shell; read your food labels and know what they mean. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, organic, if possible (wash them with soap and water before consuming). Drink plenty of filtered water, go easy on the alcohol and prescription (or over the counter) drugs. The primary goal is to stay as healthy as possible for as long as possible.
TENNIS, TO KEEP ACTIVE
Physical activity can be your best friend regarding long term health. My activity of choice is tennis; I play nearly every day! Perhaps you prefer to work out in the gym, or in your home or play soccer or swim. No matter your preference, the main idea is to establish an exercise for which you can make time to do and just do it! The benefits of being physically active may be able to:
Improve self esteem and feeling of well being.
Help build and maintain, bones, muscles and joints
Enhance flexibility and posture
Control blood pressure
Lower risk of heart disease, colon cancer and type 2 diabetes
Help maintain weight
Reduce feelings of depression and anxiety
